This year, this multi-disciplinary conference will focus on four burgeoning areas on the fields of education, sociology, media studies and communication.

  1. Representations of schools and schooling in old and new media
  2. Use of media as pedagogical tools
  3. Use of media by youth to transform their worlds
  4. The teaching of critical media literacy
  5. Papers that address these four areas have been selected for presentation.

  6. Keynote Session: A special session of papers focused on "Youth Multimodal Media Production: Strategies for Language, and Literacy Learning" is now being organized in line with the invited keynote speaker, Dr. Glynda Hull.  We now invite papers for this keynote session.

The previous conference, TTM II, was held at St. Mary's College.   The keynote address was presented by Professor Michael Kimmel.
